The work of representatives of the Russian industry was organized under the Russian Content Worldwide brand by ROSKINO with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Telefilm Vietnam was held in a hybrid format: from June 9 to 11, offline (with the participation of Russian companies), and then continued online – most of the Russian participants presented their projects on virtual stands.
In total, more than 30 Russian companies producing films, series and animation took part in the event. International content buyers from Vietnam, India, Thailand, China, Malaysia and other Asian countries were actively interested in Russian animation projects – a number of deals were concluded on them – as well as documentaries. In addition, Russian companies noted the demand for films in the sci-fi genre, comedy and action-packed detective series and action films. Asian content buyers were also interested in buying format rights to Russian TV series.
